We at Flooring Matters are thrilled to share the incredible success we had at the Contract Flooring Journal Awards, held at the prestigious Dallas Burston Polo Club in Warwickshire on Friday, September 6. It was an unforgettable event that garnered widespread acclaim, (we describe it as the Oscars of the Flooring Industry!) and we’re proud to say it was a momentous day for our team. Expertly hosted by the renowned comedian Hal Cruttenden, the day celebrated the best in the contract flooring industry, and we were honoured to be part of it.
The day was filled with laughter, recognition, and celebration, making this year’s awards one of the most memorable yet. It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with industry leaders and highlight the achievements within the sector.
We are proud to say that the spotlight shone brightly on us, and we were thrilled to take centre stage. Partnering with industry leaders such as Altro, IVC Commercial, Genesis Global Systems, Tremco, and TLC by Mercado, we were proud to win the prestigious Flooring in Bars & Restaurants Award for our exceptional work at VIVA Bar Torquay.
But the success didn’t stop there. We were honoured to secure the coveted Installation of the Year Award, solidifying our place as leaders in the field.
To cap off our triumphant day, we also took home the Sustainability Initiative of the Year Award, a testament to our commitment to innovation and environmental responsibility.
At the time of the event, Flooring Matters SW Ltd Director, Andy Law, was unable to attend as he was participating in the Transalpine Run – a trail-running event across the Alps! However, Commercial Manager, Charles Mitchell, along with the admin team, proudly collected the awards and celebrated this incredible achievement.
This recognition means the world to us, and we’re excited to continue pushing the boundaries of excellence in flooring.
